Review: Wet’N’Wild’s MegaLast Liquid Catsuit Matte Lipstick

Today I am reviewing Wet’N’Wild’s Megalast Liquid Catsuit Matte Lipstick in the shade ‘Rebel Rose’. Wet’N’Wild is usually on point when it comes to all things beauty, so it should be no surprise that these liquid lipsticks are amazing. This liquid lipstick has a perfect formula that is creamy yet dries matte. Some have compared it to Kat Von D’s Everlasting Liquid Lipstick. But honestly, what I still cannot get over is the price. This liquid lipstick is only $4.99 – compared to Kat Von D’s, that is $24.99!? Total, there are 26 shades to choose from, which is pretty great considering it is a drugstore brand. The shade I am reviewing today is ‘Rebel Rose’. It has a purple-ish, mauve undertone and could compliment any skin tone!

The claims on Wet’N’Wild’s website are:

“What glides on like butter, feels like a second skin and wont budge? Our Liquid Catsuit Matte Lipstick! Made with glammed out superpowers, it goes on glossy yet transforms into a high – pigmented matte finish with some serious staying power. Read our lips This color is going nowhere.

  • Glides on glossy and transforms into high – pigmented matte finish.
  • Lightweight formula made with serious staying power.
  • Intense pigmentation without drying the lips.”

Overall, the opaqueness, longevity, and glossy-matte finish lived up to the claims. I wore the lipstick throughout the entire work day – so, 8 hours or so – and it stayed put pretty nicely! I will stay it did wear off a little whenever I ate or drank anything but still did not feel the need to reapply it immediately! I will definitely be repurchasing the other shades to add to my collection!
