I hope everyone is having a great and relaxing Sunday! It was beautiful in Atlanta today. It’s crazy to think that literally less than one week ago we had 2 inches of snow and today it was 70 degrees outside. I guess global warming is not playing around in 2018.

 

Today I am reviewing Girlactik’s Long Lasting Matte Lip Paint Liquid Lipstick in the shade ‘Posh’. I received this lipstick in my January Boxycharm & decided to put its claims to the test! So according to Girlactik’s website:

“Apply this richly pigmented lip paint on to your lips and within one minute it will dry down to a beautiful matte color that will be noticeably dramatic without the dryness or flaking. Your lips are sure to look mattie-full!! Did you know Girlactik gives the most product in a vial for matte lippies? You get 7.5ML…that’s more than double of most brands!”

This product retails for $23.00, which is somewhat average for a high dollar liquid lipstick. I wore the lipstick from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm, so roughly 8 hours of total wear time. Even though the day was hardly eventful, I tried to really test the limits with this liquid lipstick. I didn’t hold back on drinking liquids or eating food. In fact, for lunch I had fried foods – so if grease and oils couldn’t break apart this liquid lipstick than nothing could!

I have a lot of Colourpop Matte Liquid Lipsticks in my collection and if you have ever worn them, you know how extremely drying they can be. This formula, however, is so comfortable on the lips that you honestly hardly notice it. Girlactik marketed these liquid lipsticks as a lip paint, but I don’t think that is an accurate depiction (Tarte’s Tarteist Lip Paints, however, definitely a lip paint).

 

 

And can we just stop and admire the shade ‘Posh’. It’s literally stunning. The product in the tube does look a bit darker than when it is applied, so don’t misjudge before trying out a shade.

The picture above was my last check in (around 7:00 pm). As you can tell, there is no patchiness, dry spots, partial fading, etc. It did lose some of it’s original opacity, but is still completely wearable. Overall, I am so impressed with this liquid lipstick! It’s definitely worth the money 🙂
