Cook With Me: Roasted Brussel Sprouts

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees at a minimum; Brussel sprouts are better with more heat.

Grab a half of a pound.

Cut them in half, from the stem.

Cut off any excess from the stem, but make sure not to cut off too much.

Grab a mixing bowl.

Grab an oil (Olive, Canola, Avocado, Sunflower, etc.)

Pour in two and a half tablespoons.

Seasoning can vary depending upon preference, but salt and pepper are always safe.

Grab a pinch of salt and pepper.

Place all ingredients into the mixing bowl and mix together evenly.

Grab a cooking sheet.

Spray the cooking sheet with PAM.

Place each sprout halved-side down to caramelize.

Set the timer to 20 minutes.

If the sprouts are not slightly brown by 20 minutes, let them cook for an additional 5 more minutes.

Finally, top them off with a little more salt and pepper if desired – and enjoy!
