Back in 2011, my Art History class took a weekend trip up to New York City for the graduating seniors. While touring, I was able to visit some of the more popular attractions, such as Radio City Music Hall, Time Square, the Empire State Building, the Rockefeller Building, the Bow Bridge in Central Park, St. Patrick’s Cathedral & the Church of St. Mary the Virgin, as well as the Guggenheim and the Museum of Modern Art. My experience was cut a little short during our trip, as I somehow managed to get a staph infection while staying there. Needless to say, I was in a lot of pain and had to be wheeled around NYC for the remainder of our trip.Â
Since I felt so gypped back in 2011, the Boyfriend and I decided to visit some of his family in New Jersey, while also taking a trip back to the city. Unfortunately, we adventured the city only for a day. Almost half of the places on our list were still not crossed off by the end of the day, and sadly, it was a shorter list! Some of the places that we were unable to see was Chinatown, Ground Zero, and the Freedom Tower. Looking back, I’m glad we didn’t cover everything. It just gives us even more of a reason to return 🙂
Below are pictures from my visit to NYC. Enjoy 🙂

If you have any suggestions of where I should visit next in New York, please let me know down below. I feel like there is still so much to discover in the city, and I haven’t even come close to visiting them all!
As always, thank you for stopping by and until next time…
Sincerely,
Lee.
