BECCA Cosmetics
Ever-Matte Poreless Priming Perfector (Travel Size)
$15.00
“This formula specifically targets oil-prone areas and acts as liquid blotting paper to leave your skin fresh and matte all day. Use alone, before, or after foundation to control excess oil, while minimizing the appearance of pores. Feel free to use throughout the day to touch up areas of concern. This product eliminates excess oil for long-lasting matte skin. The formula is sweat- and humidity-resistant and free of silicone, oil, alcohol, and fragrance.”
First Impression: I have tried this primer so far with two of my most worn foundations, and so far have not seen a huge difference in performance. I’m going to continue to test it out some more before I give my full thoughts and stamp of approval!
NCLA Beauty
So Rich Vitamin-E Infused Cuticle Oil Treatment in Lollipop Lollipop
$18.00
“Revitalizes and hydrates your cuticles and nails. The Vitamin-E extract paired with sunflower seed oil nourishes your nails and locks in moisture. Its gentle rubber-grip dropper allows for perfect dosage and application every time.”
First Impression: I didn’t notice a huge different in the overall well-being of my cuticles after using this oil, but this may be one of those that take time to see a distinct difference. If you love yummy smells, then you would love this! This oil smells like a sweet vanilla marshmallow… Yummm!?
Wander Beauty
Baggage Claim Gold Eye Masks (3 pack)
$25.00
“The gold foil helps retain heat and prevents the serum below from evaporating, allowing the maximum amount of absorption into the skin. The middle layer is elastic to prevent the masks from slipping, and the third is a cellulose fiber that condenses and delivers key ingredients efficiently, giving you all the skin-loving benefits you need. Hyaluronic acid delivers exceptional hydration to diminish the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Aloe leaf extract and lavender oil offer a cooling effect while soothing and calming the under-eye area.”
First Impression: This is the only product I have yet to try. I am saving them for a rainy day when my allergies have won, and my eyes are nearly swollen shut… which could possibly be sooner than later.
Bang Beauty
Chocolate Gel Eyeliner
$22.00
“Highly Pigmented, long wearing liner that glides on easily because of the gel based formula. Get up to 10 hours of waterproof, swear proof, and humidity proof wear.“
First Impression: This is quite possibly the worst product I have received in a Boxycharm thus far, but… I haven’t totally given up on it yet. I am going to continue to try to warm up the product a little more to use as an eyeliner, but so far every time I have used it, the product crumbles, flakes, and removes itself. This eyeliner is not forgiving and is pretty temperamental from what I can judge so far. Apparently you can also use this as an eyebrow pomade and as an eyeshadow base. I haven’t tried out those two methods yet, but with the product having such a dry formula, I cannot imagine it going over very well. At this point, it’s safe to say… save your money and pass on this product.

Party Animal Pressed Pigment Palette
$19.00
“Designed to make you stand out, the Party Animal pressed pigment palette offers you a full range of on-trend shades that will keep your eyes looking bright! These highly pigmented pressed shades combine to make the perfect palette for any level makeup enthusiast.“
First Impression: This palette is simply not for the faint of hearts… but don’t dismiss it right off the bat. I’m pretty conservative with my eyeshadow selections, but can see me using some of these colors for a pop of color possibly on the lid alone or even on the under eye. All shades swatched pretty well with the exception of ‘Hungover’, but honestly, purples are hard. I will have to see how much I truly reach for this palette to see if it is worth it overall.
Smashbox Cosmetics
Be Legendary Liquid Lipstick in Petal Metal
$24.00
“This liquid lip formula glides on like the full coverage of a lipstick and the high shine of a gloss in a single coat. The metallic liquid lip is rich and saturated in color with a mirror-like chrome finish in one coat.”
First Impression: Though not something I would necessarily reach for on my own.. but also not a product I completely hate. In person, the color is a bit much; however in photos, the pigment is toned down and looks pretty wearable. I don’t think I would wear it all over the lip, but instead maybe put a little in the center of my bottom lip on top of a nude to add some dimension!

As always, thanks for stopping by and until next time…
