BareMinerals Bounce & Blur Review

I recently received a package in the mail from Influenster, in hopes that I would give my honest feedback on the new Bounce & Blur collection by BareMinerals. If you haven’t heard of Influenster, I made a post on how I receive free products!

“Fingertip-friendly, weightless shadow resists creasing and fallout, and builds and blends like a dream — no brush needed”

Bare Minerals is one of my favorite brands because their philsophy is enhancing our inner beauty & being all-natural, rather than masking and covering our skin and blemishes. Their new collection, Bounce & Blur, is no different! I have tested both the eyeshadow palette & the blush that was sent to me, and have found myself reaching for it again and again! Baremineral calls it fingertip-friendly… I like to call it beginner-friendly. Back in the day, applying makeup with our fingers was a go-to, but no-a-days we reach for the makeup brushes or sponges. Sometimes is good to go back to the basis. Like the old saying goes, “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it”.

I have applied both products with my fingers and with makeup sponges, and so far I think I prefer makeup brushes for the eyeshadow palette & my fingers for the blush. The formula in this new collection allows for a more buildable look. So if you want just a simple, subtle wash of color, you can get that look. Or if you want a deeper, more advanced look, you can achieve that look too!

My only qualm with this collection is the price. For only 5 shadows in the eyeshadow palette, the price is $29.00, and for the blush, the price is $also $29.00. So, $6.00 per shadow & $30.00 for one blush. Das Expensive… But, if this is your only product & your collection is pretty minimal, it might be worth it. It’s subjective to the individual & their needs.

Have you tried the new Bounce & Blur collection from BareMinerals? If so, what were your thoughts? Leave a comment below to let us know!

Sincerely,

Lee.
