If you are anything like me, you are always looking for the best deal and anything that says “FREE”. Some call it being a penny-pincher, I like to think of it as being frugle 🙂 Today I am sharing with you all how I receive free products in the mail… That’s right, FREE!!

I stumbled upon Influenster one day when I was looking at a review of a mascara on Sephora and noticed in the comment section all of the reviews stated, “I received this product complimentary of Influenster”. My curiousity was piqued. So after investigating a little on their website, I saw no reason to be suspicious & signed myself up for their program!

Influenster is basically a hub for any and all products that have been reviewed by people like me and you! According to their website, there is currently over 5.5. million people who have signed up with Influenster & are actively reviewing products. Simply discover, review, & share! That’s it! Easy-peasy!

But how do you get free products, you ask? Even easier… Set up your profile and link all your social platforms that you are active on. This part is key! Your social platforms, such as Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Foursquare, etc., all work together to help increase your impact score. Basically the higher your impact score, the more likely you are to be put on the list to receive new products.

You also need to answer what Influenster calls ‘Snaps’. There are several categories, such as Food & Beverages, Haircare, Nails, Makeup, Pets, Health & Fitness, and more, that will ask you a series of questions on products that you have tested. Answer each question thoroughly & be as helpful as you can and fulfill the snaps!

I always search for products that I have bought and tried out myself. By reviewing more products, your impact score increases. Also, by asking questions or answering questions by other Influensters, your increase your overall impact score.

When I first signed up, within a month I had an impact score of 100 after doing all of the steps I listed above. I have now been on Influenster for a little over a year and have a total impact score of over 750!

Since signing up, I have received 5 VoxBoxes from Influenster. A VoxBox is a box that is sent from Influenster filled with full-sized, free products from a company that needs your thoughts and review. The latest VoxBox that I have received was from Bare Minerals, to review their new Bounce & Blur collection. Once you receive the VoxBox in the mail, you enter into the campaign, review on the Influenster site, and sometimes on the company’s website directly, & share your pics on Influenster & on your social media pages! It’s super important to check off each box in the campaign, as these ensure you are on any future list to receive products!

Some of the other products I have received are Garnier Olia Hair Dye, Clinique Blackhead mask, and ApotheCare PhytoDefend products!
